Our flagship life skills and leadership program, Future Focus, prepares Cambodia’s next generation of leaders and problem-solvers. We do this through hands-on learning and real-world experiences, helping to build critical thinking, entrepreneurial skills and the confidence to shape their own futures.
The eight-month program runs for three hours a week and integrates activities, excursions and volunteering into three core units: self-development; community awareness; global citizenship.
Self-development
The foundation unit lays the groundwork for everything we do. It encourages participants to explore their personal traits, improve communication and plan goals. They learn about teamwork, growth mindset and moving outside of their comfort zones.
Community Awareness
To be a community leader you must know your community. So many of our participants have rarely ventured beyond the familiar territory between home, school and work. This unit focuses on getting to know the community and the various components that drive it. We cover leadership, critical thinking, digital literacy, gender awareness, entreprenurial thinking and go on excursions.
Global Citizenship
Progressive leaders needs to understand external influences and their impacts on local issues and local communities. We believe it is important for young people to understand how they fit in the world and their responsibilities as global citizens.
